Although dried lavender has a strong fragrance, infusing it in milk creates a much more subtle flavour which is ideal with juicy blueberries. Let’s explore the ingredients a bit more:

Oats

At the core of our recipe lies the nourishing and satisfying power of oats. Bursting with fiber and essential nutrients, oats serve as the foundation for your delightful overnight oats. They provide a sustained release of energy, keeping you full and content well into the morning.

Milk

Any type of milk will do just fine. Whether you’re a fan of classic dairy milk, enjoy the nutty notes of almond milk, or prefer any other plant-based alternative, the decision is entirely yours. The addition of milk enriches the oats, elevating their flavour profile and ensuring a smooth texture.

Lavender

Infuse your oats with the calming essence of lavender. Lavender is known for its soothing properties and associated with relaxation benefits. You can use a lavender tea bag, dried lavender heads, or culinary lavender buds to add a subtle floral flavour and aroma to your oats.

Honey

Drizzle in a touch of golden sweetness with honey. It complements the floral notes of lavender and enhances the overall taste of your oats. If you prefer a vegan option, you can substitute honey with maple syrup for a similar touch of sweetness.

Blueberries

Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and fibre, which is why they’re often referred to as a superfood. They’re basically a powerhouse of nutrients. Plus they add a pop of colour and freshness to your breakfast.
