Mandarin Overnight Oats Recipe

Oats

At the heart of all our overnight recipes lie comforting and nourishing oats. Go for rolled oats to create the optimal texture that’s thick and filling. Oats are packed with carbohydrates, fibre, and other essential nutrients so provide a varied range of health benefits too.

Milk

Use whichever type of milk you prefer for this recipe. Plant-based milks are usually fortified with vitamins and minerals so are typically just as nutritious as dairy options. They’ll provide that smooth, creamy texture for the oats that set the stage for other ingredients…

Mandarin

Mandarin oranges are the star of this overnight oats recipe. Their unique, vibrant flavour will infuse the oats with sweet, tanginess. Using the peel and the segments ensures you make the most of the entire fruit, maximising flavour and nutrient intake too.

Vanilla Extract

Vanilla extract adds a touch of aromatic sweetness to the oats. You only need a splash of this fragrant essence to elevate the overall flavour profile of your breakfast bowl. It complements the mandarin beautifully, giving your morning meal more depth.

Vanilla Yogurt

Creamy and indulgent, vanilla yogurt brings a smooth creamy texture to your oats. It also adds a hint of tanginess and richness that perfectly complements the citrusy mandarin. Opt for a Greek-style or plant-based vanilla yogurt for a satisfying experience.
